Developer Notes: Good morning everyone, its been a long time since the last update, and the last update confirm that the build development for Azure is complete. We have been busy focusing on ReliefMCNetwork, featuring a unique SkyBlock Server. We are happy to announce that we will begin focusing on the development for Relief Realms. More updates and content will be releasing in the next weeks. Our official Discord for Relief Realms is now open to the public to follow the development of Relief Realms

Developer Notes: Good news! The first stage of the build development for Azure is now complete thanks to KeyStone Building. What does this mean? It means that all the important locations players can visit and explore are complete and can be played by us! Yay us! You guys need to continue waiting. So now we move on to stage 2 which will add all sorts of QOL decorations, terrain fixes, and will also be adding the roads in stage 2. Once stage 2 is complete we will start on stage 3 which will focus on Quality Control and adding or removing any left overs from stage 2.

  • CMI Integration - Replacing EssentialsX

Developer Notes: Yeah! We know, where are the updates? Really since July!? Blame me! Congress...

Into the good stuff! We have been working behind the scenes and have some really amazing things to show you!

Well we can't show you everything, but I can show you some screenshots! Check the gallery development for all the new in game screenshots. (Keep in mind it's a mix of Renders, and in game with shaders.) Here is what we did since July!

  • New Amazing Logo!

  • Main City 90% Complete.

  • Main Town 100% Complete.

  • Farm 60% Complete.

  • Partnership with Keystone Builds to finish the build development of Azure Island.

  • Custom plugin development in process.

  • Hiring positions available for writers and quest makers, visit our studios website to apply.

  • Development of points of interested started, currently at 28% Complete.

  • Open IG Account. Follow @reliefrealms

  • Discord Channel Rehaul.

  • Updated Website.

  • Created Renders.

  • Tested custom blocks, swords.

  • Modify some parts of the lore to fit the general style of Minecraft.

  • Lost a plugin developer, we are hiring by the way....

  • Ate tons of tacos.

  • About 1500 Hours behind sleep.

  • Dungeons!? Scrap them! No I kid, re-working the whole dungeon system.

  • No roads have been added.

  • We added the boats.

  • I mentioned the tacos already?

Update #02:

Date: May 28, 2020 @ 10:00 am

Developer Notes: Hello, here is update package #02 enjoy.

  • Main City for Azure, Relinquished near completion and it's looking amazing! (No screenshots sorry)

  • First dungeon in development! The first few dungeons will be generic looking, we want to concentrate in getting the mechanics correct and fun before creating elaborate dungeons.

  • Started working on a wheat farm for the island, the windmills are complete. Progress: 55%

  • Almost done building a  "Point of Interest", will also be the location for the first dungeon.

  • Road completed from the wheat farm to Relinquished. Will come back to add details to the road later.

  • We have 2 cool looking boats thanks to @Liam(ToxicMugOfDeath). They will be added to the island as a point of interest and for the location of the first mini game. (Render scene added to development album)

Update #01:

Date: May 15, 2020 @ 10:45 am

Developer Notes: Update #01 brings the first island to the server ready for in game development and hand terraforming. Renders have been uploaded to the development album. Development was longer than expected but this ensures we can deliver a more explorable and immersive gameplay. Main Island scale is 3x the original size of Azure island, estimate development time for main island is about 1-2 months. Rivers are annoying & super hard to make; we might scrap all future river development…

  • Azure Island development completed.

  • Different cave layers; ground caves, mountain caves, aggressive lava caves, deep underground caves, underwater caves, and ocean caves. Caves layout and resources will be change in the next update package.

  • Island consist of 4 different forest each with different trees, floor coverings, and biomes

  • Frost layer on all mountains has been removed and only 3 mountain peaks will contain snow.

  • River system completed, nothing too special about this.

  •  Added wheat farm and carrot farm.

  • Ocean Floor rehauled and now follows 30 Blocks as the default sea floor to allow ocean floor caves without cutting into the ocean surface.

  • Coral reefs added to map thanks to Scheballs from planetminecraft for his coral reef pack schematics. *Usage rights pending. (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/coral-reef-pack-15-different-overgrown-coral-reef-formations-minecraft-1-14/#tab_image_gallery)

  • Ocean Package pre development started, will include underwater holds, submerged abandon cities (Small Scale), ocean cave rehaul, elaborate coral reefs designs, sinked boats, underwater canyons. (Ocean package subjects to change)

  • Pre development of Relinquished hold schematic ported to Azure map.

  • Removed sea cucumbers, they weird and need to see how to implement them without making the ocean bright as the sun.

  • Updated tree schematics for map and 1.15 update

  • Uploaded to game server for plugin development

  • Map lore layout completed. (Uh?) *Means that the map now as name sections and zones.

  • Dungeon development started
